Step Fourth is delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Smith as Chief Operating Officer (COO), working alongside co-founders Paul Harris, Pete Caddick, and Stewart Foster.
In this role, Andy will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, including development operations and customer services management. He previously worked with Pete and Stewart as an architect and development manager at Financial Objects plc, before leaving to co-found his own RegTech company, Risk Business, where he remains a Non-Executive Director and equity holder.
Andy’s appointment reflects a broader growth strategy for Step Fourth, freeing up Pete Caddick and Stewart Foster to focus on revenue and growth. As part of this shift, Pete Caddick has moved from Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to Chief Product Officer, a role that better reflects his focus on ensuring the company builds the right products, in the right way, for the right people.
